“Custom” means that from the welcome to the vows to the ring exchange to the pronouncement and everything else, I guide you through the options and we work on it together in a personal planning session. You get the ceremony you’ve always wanted.

PERSONAL

I TELL YOUR LOVE STORY

“Personal” means (and this is the best part!) I’m not just pulling platitudes out of a can from the wedding I did the week before. There’s magic in how you met and got engaged and love each other, and even more magic in telling your family and friends on your day.

LEGAL

I REGISTER YOUR MARRIAGE

“Legal” means I’m certified with the judiciary to register your marriage and fulfill all obligations as a lawful officiant. Your paperwork is handled and filed according to state regulations, and you get peace of mind knowing that your marriage is fully legalized.

Judy was so wonderful to work with. From out first phone call to when we parted ways after our ceremony, she was nothing but warm, friendly and professional. Judy was very accomdiating to our elopement, from the day and time and the location. Not everyone would be so happy and willing to show up on the snowy beach of the Straits of Mackinac on a sunny, windy day. I cannot recommend WEddings by Judy enough!!!

Judy is absolutely amazing! My wife and I got married by Judy last September and it was a spectacularly stress free process! She met with us and went over different options for the ceremony and took to time to get to know us. She was enthusiastic about all our choices, even the more unique ones like my wife’s snow camouflage dress. We highly recommend Judy to friends, family, and everyone else! 💕

Judy is the best! Judy met with me a head of the wedding to go over the day and show me her various script options for the ceremony, and allowed me to change or add whatever we wanted. She is very prompt and professional. She directed us all at the rehearsal so the actual ceremony would go smoothly. She made our ceremony perfect & I wouldn’t want anyone else to have officiated our big day.

Judy is seriously such a sweet person. She made everything go so smoothly. I had no idea how this whole process worked, so she sent me an entire outline of the ceremony with multiple different options on how we could word things to cater it to us as a couple. She helped add additions in for the unity part we wanted. I really felt as if we had a unique ceremony geared personally towards our life together as a couple.

Judy was a total pleasure to work with. Our backyard wedding was slightly unconventional, and she rolled with it beautifully. She is professional, well-spoken, and has exactly the right demeanor (and height!) for an officiant. I also love her accent 🙂 She gave some great tips for our day as well. She is obviously a total pro, and also kind and enjoyable to speak with in the planning stages - highly recommend!

Judy was amazing! My husband and I highly recommend using her as your officiant. We got married in Mackinaw City on short notice and Judy accommodated us so well. She sent us the script so that we could go over it ahead of time and allowed us to make any changes we wanted. She responded to messages quickly and made everything feel less stressful. She was very professional, personable, and friendly!
